Chapter 2: the meeting
Forbidden love
Inu-yasha continued his gaze down at the young girl who looks though she had been hurt dreadfully. yuki hello are you okay?? his concerned face become worse when she didnt answer, but just stood up and started walking away. YUKI!? Are you okay? he grabbed her elbow and a flood of feelings jolted through Yukis body. She felt warmth at his touch, happy that he was concerned for her, but she also felt a great deal of pain zap through her heart. After a moments hesitation she tore her arm away from hiss comforting grip and whirled around to look in his eyes. Inu-yasha I am fine please just leave me alone__ a voice interrupted her it came form a girl prancing over with raven dark hair and a school uniform on. She stopped her eyes wide in shock and then pointed at yukis hair what did you do to your hair! she burst out in laughter and held her stomach. I dyed kagome even you could have noticed that! yuki turned around and stomped away from the person she had the greatest feelings for, and the person she hated in her entire life who was now glomping inu-yashas arm. YUKI! YUKI! he was calling after her but she didnt dare reply or she might never want to leave. She dashed off and hid under a tree as it started to rain. Yuki sighed and folded her arms across her chest. White is not the smartest thing to wear. She let another sigh and dashed off trying to get to another shelter or something that would keep her dry. She stumbled a bit catching her self but then slipping on her undone shoelaces. A strong arm gripped her form falling and pulled her back on balance. She just then realized where the arm was gripping. HENTAI!!!!!!!!!! she slapped who ever was holding on to her. The person ducked missing her strike and immediately let go of the area he was holding on to. Im sorry miss. I saw you falling and I grabbed what was ever closest to my hand. His black hair flopped in his warm hazel eyes. so your HAND was closest to my REAR END! Yuki straightened out her pants where it was all wrinkled from a certain someones hand. He looked down a little embarrassed. I am sorry miss. Yuki noticed how he feels with her breathing down his neck to make him embarrassed, and she became angry with herself. dont worry about it Kay Hun. Im just a little grumpy because my shirt is white and now its see through and how I am totally soaked to the bone. She let out a sigh and turned her back on him. Well it was nice meeting you. He interrupted her to give yuki his name. My name is Nuriko.. it was nice meeting you.. The names yuki, cause right now I am as cold as the snow I was named after. She dashed off, running under shelters at a time to try and stay some what dry. Nuriko gave a sigh and walked off in a different direction under the safety of his umbrella.
YUKI!!! Sinai called out for her friend in the crowded area of the carnival. WHERE ARE YOU GIRL?? Kokiri called in a concerned voice. Sinai, Kokiri? is that you? A tell guy appeared beside them he had long silvery hair and piercing yellow eyes. you guys looking for yuki? Sinai and Kokiri dashed up to him with concern written allover there face. Have you seen her inu-yasha? We cant find her after she saw the fortune telling place in the carnival. The young raven haired girl spoke up. of course we saw the girl. She was running off out of the carnival just before it started to rain. She is probably at home lazing about on her butt while you guys search for her. Kagome sneered at them and held on tighter to inu-yashas arm. dont worry Sinai I am sure she is okay, and she will probably phone you as soon as she can. Gohan and higashi ran up to sthe group. sorry Kokiri, Sinai I couldnt find her anywhere. Higashi looked at his Kokiri and her sad eyes, and gave her a hug. dont worry hun Kokiri looked into his eyes and held on to him tighter. Inu-yasha what are you doing here in the rain? gohan asked standing behind Sinai. It started to rain when we got here, and we were just telling the girls that we saw yuki and told them not to worry. Inu-yasha walked up to the two guys and said. I would like to talk to you alone for a minute. He turned the girls as the guys walked away from the girls. dont worry its just something I need to ask them at that he walked off beside Higashi and Gohan. They stopped a little ways away from the girls. Kagome was glaring at him following his every move. He turned to the guys ignoring her annoying eyes. So whats the deal? Something else is happening isnt it? The other guys looked up at first shock then with respect. we knew you would know something was up. Said gohan then looked at higashi. you explain. Higashi got right into it. The reason we couldnt find hr is because something is blocking her from us. We cant use our powers to locate her. The supreme kai hated admitting things when he didnt know the answer. I think we should keep and eye on her suggested gohan. That might be easy for you but if you hadnt noticed she isnt really happy with me for the moment. Inu-yasha gave out a sigh and jerked his head in kagome direction. I think she has something to do with it.ever since the experience with the haunted house thing yuki has been acting weird. He turned around and started walking back to where the girls were. Sorry about that but you know inu-yasha he just doesnt get anything. Gohan looked at his soaked Sinai. we better get you girls home before you catch a cold. see ya gals nice talking to ya Kagome dragged inu-yaha off into the other direction as the others walked off. Sinai and Kokiri exchanged looks telling each other that something was going on. And they would talk about it later.
~*flashback*~
Whats going on yuki? You used to always hang with inu-yasha, but now you kinda have ditched him Sinai tried to turn her friend around but failed. Yuki would not look at her. You dont understand Sinai, its not that easy Sinai tried to get her to look at her again but to her disappointment failed. Then explain this to me. If I dont understand make me understand. Yuki continued to mumble. I cant because that might bring you pain and I couldnt hurt my friends.. your all I have left. Yuki turned around, tears streaming down her cheeks, her eyes gone red and puffy from weeping. Im sorry Sinai she broke down in tears and fell to the ground. Sinai sat on the ground and hugged her friend. Yuki. No matter what Ill always be your friend. Yuki hugged Sinai and gave a weak smile. I knowI know
~*end of flashback*~
Yuki put 25 cents in the pay phone, picked up the receiver and started dialing. She waited as a couple of rings went by and then someone picked up. hello? the sound of Kokiri voice was reassuring. Hey Kokiri I am SOOOO sorry about leaving you at the carnival but I had to go, somethingcame up Kokiri stumbled for words. :are you okay we have been looking for you, we are heading home do you want us to come pick you up?? Where are you? yuki gave out a giggle at her friends concern for her. no thanks Kokiri Ill be home in 5 minutes, sorry but I have to go I am getting soaked here. Bye bye and I am sorry for leaving. She hung up after her friend had said farewell. She scurried off home so nothing else bad could happen to her today. Oblivious to the red eyes that were watching her.
